“Running Man”s Kim Jong Kook asked whose name tag he”d take off first between Yoon Eun Hye and Angelababy

In a recent interview in China to promote the premiere of his starring Chinese movie "Hurry Up Brother" (movie version of the Chinese variety show based on "Running Man"), Kim Jong Kook was asked about Angelababy and Yoon Eun Hye.

When asked, "How do you think it"d be to film "Running Man" in the same team as Angelababy?" he replied, "I"ve always been awkward and uncomfortable being in a team with female members.  However, I think if I were to work with Angelababy, other people would be envious."

Another question was, "If there were both Angelababy and Yoon Eun Hye, whose name tag would you take off first?".  He replied, "That"s a hard question," but continued wittily, "If we were filming in China, I would first take off Yoon Eun Hye"s name tag and if we were filming in Korea, I would first take off Angelababy"s name tag."

In addition, he said, "After I finished filming, the Korean members talked a lot about the Chinese members.  The members said after seeing Angelababy, "She comes out pretty in pictures, but she"s also pretty in person.""

The February 1st broadcast of SBS's entertainment show "Running Man" will witness the reunion of its cast members and their best friends! In the preview, the cast members expressed surprise when Hong Kyung Min appeared in the opening as Kim Jong Kook’s friend. They commented, “[It looks like] we won’t know at all whose friend is whose.” Oh Hyun Kyung, Kim Ji Soo,Kim Won Joon, Park Ji Yoon, Miryo, and Shin Da Eun also appeared and greeted their best friends with warm embraces. The cast members and their friends went on to share the stories about how they met as well as funny anecdotes from over the years. Kim Jong Kook & Angelababy’s Chinese Version Of “Running Man” Set To Hit North American Theaters

Kim Jong Kook will make his appearance in the Chinese version of "Running Man," alongside Angela Baby! “Running Man” will premier at select North American theaters on January 30th. China Lion Film acquired the rights to distribute the film from Wanda Media Group. The Chinese film adaptation of “Running Man” stars Kim Jong Kook, a veteran of the Korean variety show, along with a star-studded cast of Asian celebrities. 

Hong Kong’s Angelababy is the lone female in the ensemble cast, serving as the film's version of Song Ji Hyo in the Korean variety show. The cast also includes Wang Baoqiang, Li Chen, Chen He, and Zheng Kai. The "Running Man" movie will follow the structure of the beloved variety show. The film will focus on the celebrities as they compete in various challenges while highlighting their comedic timing. 

Some of the contests may be visually stimulating but one drawback of the "Running Man" film may be the frenetic sprinting of the contestants which distinguishes the program from other variety shows. The Chinese version of “Running Man” has become a hit show in mainland China, following the success of other adaptations of Korean programs including "Dad, Where Are We Going?" and “I am a Singer.” “Running Man” will premier on January 30 in select North American cities including New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and Dallas. China Lion Film will also serve as the North American distributor for the upcoming film, “Somewhere Only We Know.” “Somewhere Only We Know” stars former EXO member Kris Wu and Wang Likun. “Somewhere Only We Know” will premier in select North American theaters on February 13rd.
